Transit to Ukraine
The Acland company provides registration services for transit cargo to Ukraine in the ports of Gdańsk and Gdynia. Due to the blockade of seaports in Ukraine, shipping lines have canceled all ship routes to Ukraine. The only way to get cargos to this country is to transport goods in transit through Poland. The war in Ukraine means that the transport of goods to this country now requires new solutions. How is transit to Ukraine possible?
The cargo begins its journey in China, where it is packed into a container. Then, with the help of sea freight, it travels to Hamburg, and from there to the port of Gdańsk or Gdynia. Then the container is transported under customs control to our terminal. There it’s unloaded and transferred to a truck. Transportation to Ukraine by truck is currently the best way to deliver goods there. It is at this moment that transit cargoes to Ukraine are registered. Then truck with cargo, together with the necessary documentation, heads to the border with Ukraine. There, the goods are handed over to the Ukrainian customs service.
